Rainy Days and Sundays (In Germany) always get me down...

My attempt to be more adventurous and see more (this is 'Social Habit Outreach Therapy Step 1' in which I force myself to find and partake in strange and foreign (and possibly inhospitable) environments) of Munich failed today. I pulled a muscle in my back yesterday, and even though it loosened itself in the train this morning, it was still hurting enough for me to just want to spend the day in bed. My grand ideas of museums seemed a bit stupid (who wants to walk through endless halls when their back hurts?) so I decided to go to a café. We've discussed my feelings on Cafés before so it wasn't like I was just going to go to a strange Gastätte (German Pub, very outdated decor, dark, and strange 'regulars') or some chic place with wooden benches (back). where the coffee will cost more than your chiropractor bill. This morning I had bought a magazine all about food culture in Munich. It had a special on c0ffee houses so I decided to find one, go there, and blog about it. Unfortunately for me, the chosen environment was at full capacity (so it probably is good!) and so I have unfortunately ended up at Starbucks. It's not that I do not like Starbucks, but that when studying abroad you kind of want to have a cool, non-industrial, inspiring place to drink your coffee.
Which leaves me here in Starbucks kind of unhappy that I can't blog to plan. So, because I can't tell you about the wonderful café, I'm going to write several random entries and draft until I hit a successful theme. Until then....

If you ever come to visit me, I'll take you to my trendy / inspiration filled cafe. Good espresso drinks and lots of good chi to write by. Yes, I will definitely take you there.
